Meigs County School District Reviews
I am currently a senior at Meigs County High School. My overall experience in the Meigs County School District has been very good. For a small town, Meigs has adapted a way to make all of the students enrolled in the county feel like they belong. Each student takes part in being a “Tiger For Life” as we say. Just like any other school, yes there are things I would change, like the dress code, but I also see the benefits from the dress code as well. One thing I really like about the schools is the security. Student in Meigs County never have to question their safety while sitting at school. Our schools have really stepped up over the past few years and they plan on continuing the good work.
My experience at Meigs County High School wasn't terrible, but not great either. The academics are okay, but a lot more students could learn better providing their environment improves and the teachers showed a little more care.
Meigs County High School has mostly been a great experience for me. I feel I can go up to any teacher if I need help, have a problem, or just want to talk in general. What I do not like about my school is that it doesn't have a broad of personal academics to choose from. I'm wanting to do film production and the closest class they have to offer is journalism and yearbook.
