MISD has some pros and cons, just like all school districts. I wish that our school was more lenient on things like dress code and would focus more on actual issues on campus like fights/vaping/the way some boys act around women. The school has very advanced programs where students are able to earn certifications in many fields. This is how I was able to become a licensed CNA before turning 18. I have made some great friends over the years and overall would say that MISD is a good school district in need of some minor adjustments.
Seeing the dedication and views of others I had a lot of things to get things done. This gave me a view of how everything is and how I view myself. On the first day of freshman camp, I came in the first day of practice and I mostly relied on my natural athleticism, strength, and abilities. This was a really reliable idea at the time, but as I get older I more and more regret things I did. The first day I came in with a statement and I came out hot, I was thinking as if it was the same thing as when I was in the 9th grade. Unfortunately, it wasn’t, I still did what I had to do until I got moved up within three days of the camp. When I got moved up I was moved up with all the 10th, 11th, and 12th graders. I started to feel like it was a major struggle at times, especially when I had to learn pass pro. That Is something I had to really emphasize if I really wanted to get excellent at what I do.
Really is a great school disrtict. It is safe and fair. The staff among the individual schools really work hard for their student's future success. You would meet many people and make many friends. Also, this district is in a nice city with plenty of activities. This district provides many opportunities wether in technology, sports, math, law, etc.
