McKenzie School District Reviews

McKenzie is an extremely small school, so you are a big fish in a little pond. You can make a name for yourself easily, whether you join a sports team, or just speak up in class. It's easy to get to know anyone, or even everyone. I was there for a long time but I can image a new student may feel it was hard to find your "group" of people. Small schools have their perks but also their downfalls. A definite advantage is the one on one help. You can get as much help as you could possibly need, as long as you ask. The staff is overall very caring and they want the best for their students. In a way its like a big family.

My experience at McKenzie High School was fairly typical. The pros and cons balanced out . The one on one with the teachers was a great experience and if I had to change one thing about McKenzie I would most likely change the amount of students, I feel as though the amount of people in the high school could change the atmosphere.
McKenzie High School is very easy to do well in all aspects as it is a very small 1a school. There are several resources but overall preparation for the outside world is poor.
