Hail to thee, O Maumee High School, Loyalty we bring,
Tho’ far we all may wander, Praise to thee we sing.
High School life is swiftly passing, Soon it’s sands are run,
While we live we’ll ever cherish, Friendships here begun. Chorus: Lift the chorus, Speed it onward,
Joyfully we cry.
Hail to thee, our Alma Mater. Hail to Maumee High!

I like most of the teachers I had, I just wish I was more prepared for college. The sports were ran by teachers and I strongly did not like that very much or since we do not have a big school we can not have a JV or a varsity team, so sports are not that great. I highly recommend going to the art shows because we have lots of talented artist, we have more artist than athletes and that's okay!
I appreciated the ability to make genuine relationships with the teachers. I always felt as if my teachers supported me, believed in me, and truly wanted me to succeed. They supported me in my academics and my extracurricular activities. It really was a community based school. The one thing I would like to see improve, specifically in their high school, is their overall school spirit within the student body. There needs to be excitement when individuals and teams succeed. There needs to be encouragement and acknowledgement of every sport and club, not just a select few. There needs to be more awareness and support from the students, which essentially should be led by coaches and staff.
