Mason County Schools Reviews
I found the school to be average overall, with some good things and some bad. The school makes a good effort to recognize al areas of excellence, but the quality of teaching is hit or miss, usually miss more than not. It also has a fair principal, but the councilor’s are a problem. It is very difficult to talk to them, and even then it is up for debate if they can help. I was misinformed about important thing multiple times, and stressed a lot over it. Favoritism is also a problem: student know which teachers like which group, and try to work around it. It wasn’t a bad school, but it certainly wasn’t a great one.
My overall experience with Mason County Schools have been mostly positive; however the schools need more money to fund extracurricular activities and school programs. The teachers are great and the atmosphere is positive.
I liked the school overall. I wish at times we had more help with academics. With sports we have been great but I wish they would let the kids have more "playtime " in the game that are not as good at a sport as the other guy.
