Maryville high school is a dream destination for parents to send there children to. It is one of the top schools in Tennessee academically, and athletically. Our test scores are repeatedly being reported above the state average and our football team is widely feared by other schools. Maryville high has a lot to offer as far as corses go. We not only have the core classes needed to graduate, but we have many different occupational courses to help prepare you for the world. Suck corses include the health program, culinary program, and marketing program. The school is a little crowded, as many people try and cram there children in, but it is manageable. Overall, maryville high school is an amazing school that I am proud to be part of. Go rebels!
I honestly have a pretty good experience while attending Maryville City Schools. I have been a mostly well behaved student while attending, so I was successful and didn't receive much discipline. However, I have seen many students who have been disciplined heavily due to their actions, and I often see this happen quite regularly. I honestly would like to see the behavioral issues stop at Maryville City Schools but I believe that is near impossible to complete. Behavior is mainly my only issue with Maryville City Schools but it is honestly a problem in every Schools System.
I had great teachers in Maryville City Schools. Most of them seemed committed and invested in our success. They hold us to really high standards academically. We were encouraged to constantly challenge ourselves. The workload as you transition into 8th grade becomes significantly larger than previous years and they do not prepare their students very well for that. You get used to it after while though, but it can be very stressful and overwhelming at first. They do prepare you well for college. I am currently dual enrolled and am finding college to be very similar in workload to Maryville High School. I feel as though it is another high school class.
