Marshall Community Unit School District No. 2-C Reviews
The High-school I attended had nice points to it, but there are somethings that could be changed to better the school overall. Such as, updated bathrooms to make them more comfortable and clean for the students and faculty. Another thing would be more updated technology and resources that can be utilized to further help educate the students. Also bringing in more reading into the English classes instead of other work. I say this because I think it’s important and can really widen student’s vocabulary and they are more prone to pay attention and actually get involved in the class.
The school itself is very safe and easy to navigate. The teachers are nice, some are strict but detention is nothing. Faculty is very understanding and create a homelike environment. Although they do have issues. They care about MENS sports more than anything else in the whole high school, and there's no diversity at ALL.
Everyone of the teacher strives to push the student to do their very best. For the size of the school there students preform well against larger school. One of the reasons the school is great is our community. The community helps with funding for programs. Marshall High School also has a number of arts programs. The grading scale is also high than others in the area which pushes the student harder.
School is not pleasing and not a good overall experience. Felt depressing as we walked in. Is very old. Basketball team is trash. Would not recommend
Marshall is a very close tight community. There are so many chances to make new friends, have time with teachers, and succeed. Our school always does what's best for the kids and the community as well. Although because we are so small sometimes kids are designated as "those kids" whether that be good or bad and that's definitely something I would like to see changed.
it's a nice school to attend with a community around it that is very safe with very low potential of crime or unlawful act to be done. Has good teachers that are open to help the students to prepare for the future. The school itself has a great belief in preparing students to achieve their future indevers and help them successful members of society.
I liked how almost all of the classes offered in done way prepared it's students for college. However, I wish there was diversity of options.
