Marked Tree School District Reviews

3 reviews
Marked Tree is a very small town. For around our 2,000 population, you get about as much as you would expect from a high school. Our graduating class will have only around 50 students in it. Due to a small school, our classmates and teachers build a tighter bond, which will allow for more memories to be made. However, sometimes lack of "acceptable" teachers may cause interruption with your learning experience.

Did not prepare for college. Would like to see less laziness and childness. My time there was miserable. I couldn't wait to be out. The administration was all over the place. Teachers were scared of what students would think or say about them. No one actually cared about the well being of the students. It was only a way to babysit kids and to make them behave for something they had no idea about.
Marked Tree High School offers what typical low-poverty schools do not. We have the opportunity at a New Tech high school. Each student in the building is giving a laptop. Working with technology is so important especially now and days because everything is heavily based upon it. Marked Tree is trying to prepare its students for the real world and the use of technology. Most students from other schools do not understand the simple task of checking one's email and how important it is. Here at Marked Tree, we do. Everyone checks their school email at least once a day to make sure they are not missing an assignment from a teacher or to even get in contact with a teacher if they are not in the class at that particular time. Marked Tree High School gives students the knowledge and information they need to prepare them for life which will eventually leave a great impact on each graduating class.
