I had a wonderful 4 + yrs in Marietta City Schools, my teachers were all amazing and helped me to learn in a way that I could retain information. I made friends that made being a teenager so easy.
My teachers were all very encouraging & gave me lifelong lessons to use in the future.
Of course, there were some fights at the high school but it wasn't an everyday occurrence, actually at a bare minimum. That would be about the only thing I wished would change, that students would learn to get along and enjoy their teenage and high school years before we all have to adult.

I've lived in Marietta my whole life. I am currently a Senior at Marietta High school and I can say, proudly, that Marietta City Schools has positively impacted my life. Through Marietta City schools, I have met many kind-hearted people in this community. I feel grateful that I got to grow up in this environment that has helped me become the person I am today. Many opportunities are given to students and individually, they are recognized for their achievements.
Marietta City Schools is an excellent school system, particularly their IB program. I've had a fantastic experience as a student taking the IB Diploma program, with plenty of resources and facilities being readily available to aide me. The teachers and staff are very respectful and knowledgeable, and assist students in any way they can, either educationally or emotionally. The overall college readiness resources are very good as well, with 2 dedicated college advisors on campus available to take appointments for any questions a student or parent may have. They also provide lists of scholarship opportunities and hold seminars and boot camps regarding college admission, guiding both students and parents through the confusing and stressful process of applying to college. The environment of the school is excellent, with a well maintained campus and new state of the art building dedicated for CTAE/STEM courses. There is an abundance of rigor courses available, with both IB and AP classes.
