For being in the marana unified school district for 10 years I have learned this school district takes pride in their students, staff, and campuses. The atmosphere is great and feels like safe place to learn. The teachers I have had were very helpful not just academically but also for learning life lessons. The school atmosphere is amazing and has its own culture. I specifically love the music and arts program after playing cello since 5th grade in MUSD it has been very fun and has helped shaped me who I am today from the people I have met and the things I have learned while attending schools in this school district.

Some things I love is that we are a very close school, everybody knows everybody. We all go to school events and participate in school spirit weeks, we are a very academically successful school. Teachers are always willing to help anyway that they can. We have several opportunities for students to get caught up with work and have several programs to help with that. Also we are a very athletic school, we always have lots of people who play sports and we play to win. During the season we have fundraisers and always reach out goals. Recently this last school year our school had made several improvements to the campus, we got new desks and chairs for each class, we extended the campus and added some new buildings to the school, and finically we added some color to the gates around the school.
Marana Unified has prepared me with the resources and knowledge I need to attend college. There's a fair share of teachers that aren't focused on connecting with their students or supporting them but a majority of them do. There's opportunities for all different pathways, whether you're failing 4 classes or breezing through several AP classes.
