This was an excellent environment to grow up in. Kindness is definitely a major priority on the campuses, and I am so glad to have grown up here (specifically to have been enrolled in Marana High School). Majority of teachers are engaged and determined in having you learn. Help is never a question, all teachers have help hours that most likely work with your schedule. As a student athlete with two jobs and in a JTED Dental Assisting program, my days were packed. But these teachers made it that much easier to achieve my GPA (4.025 weighted, 3.75 unweighted) with everything else I have going on. I couldn't have done it without their flexibility and help!

Overall, a lot of changes have occurred throughout my schooling during my time in this district. I feel as though the providing of the Chromebooks extremely helped my education here, as well as being able to help students who would otherwise not have any technology resources at home. In addition, I've seen my previous elementary and middle school grow and be built on to as I come close to finishing my high school career. All in all, I would say that it is a very safe district that focuses on the safety of students and help the growth of every kid as they complete their schooling.
Ive been through the district from fourth grade all the way up to graduation. In my experience there where a lot of teachers that struggled to teach the standards, and don't get you prepared enough for college. Overall its a very supportive place to be and they offer a lot of help but a lot of the resources are out dated and 10+ years old. Also the food is awful.. when I went there I would skip lunch because it was disgusting and not edible, this probably effects students performances. The sports programs are great a lot of support and direction. The facilities all over the school are run down and old, almost every desk if falling apart and the computers and beyond the dinosaur age and take forever for an assignment to get done. Many clubs to join and experiences to be made. Resources are great! The library has lots of books and computers to use, most teachers will also give up there lunch to help students out or stay after school to help.
