Maple Valley School District No. 4 Reviews

I like the intimacy between teachers and students. Because the teacher-to-student ratio is so small, students and teachers get to know one another very well. I feel like I can always approach a teacher and ask a question or talk about something concerning me because I know the teacher personally. This has its issues. It can be hard to talk about problems at home to teachers or problems at school to parents for fear that parents' and teachers' relationships with one another may affect how they interpret what I am saying. Also, there are not many courses offered. If you are interested in specialized classes such as computing and higher math and science, you won't be able to find a class to meet your academic desires. Students with a higher academic aptitude do not have classes to take to supplement their skills. Maple Valley does not offer AP classes for any student. Because of these reasons, I would have to rate my school experience as poor.
