Mansfield Independent School District Reviews
My experience at MISD was different, I liked the change. When I first got there I noticed that all the students had their own Ipads or electronic devices given by the school district which I found very unique. Though, through the day, I saw how helpful it is for every student to have an Ipad that they can access the teachers assignments on; saving the trees and time from the class to learn. When it came to passing period, there was a rule that you could only walk one way and I genuinely loved that concept. If there was one experience I could change that would be to change a few of my teachers that really didn't seem interested in their job, their were many teachers at that school who were very rude. Overall, academically, MISD is a good district!
MISD has been my home for the past 13 years. In the 5 schools I’ve been through, my expectations are exceeded each time. The teachers, staff, and faculty in this school district want to be here, and want to see their kids succeed in life. Most of these teachers don’t come just for their pay check, but to make a difference on kids lives, and help them discover their worth. I could not have asked for a better grade school experience, and I will forever and always be an MISD kiddo!
I was in MISD from 2012 to 2017, and I enjoyed every bit of it! The difference from other school districts and Mansfield ISD is quality in schools, staff, and resources. I’ve been back there since my graduation as a volunteer and as a student observer. My aim in life is to become a teacher, and I would love to be part of Mansfield ISD. It’s incredible to think that I would be part of a circle, as a student to a teacher.
