Mancos School District No. RE-6 Reviews
Mancos High School is a very small school with about 80-150 kids total so there is not a whole lot of diversity in the school, but there is a very strong connection between all of the students because they actually get to know and interact with one another in every grade level. The teachers at the school (for the most part) are truly there for the kids and care about their jobs because of they definitely don't do it for money. One thing that Mancos schools does lack is clubs and activities other than a few sports teams and one or two clubs there is not very many school activities for the kids to get involved with. Overall the school is pretty quality and does a lot for its students and their families as well as the local community.
I would love to see some updated facilities and classes that challenge critical thinking a little more, as well as better preparation for college. Additional elective classes, beyond the regulars would also be good.
as a senior at Mancos high school I have seen everything this school system has to offer. This school is small so you get to know your peers and teachers extremely well and get a very hands on education. the guidance staff wants to see you excel and tries to give you the recourses that you need like scholarships and ACT/SAT prep. athletes thrive, and so do the artists and the scholars.
