Manchester Community Schools Reviews
I am a senior at Manchester High School. I have grown up in the Manchester community and know the schools like the back of my hand. The Manchester Community school system is a great place to raise your children. This school provides a small, collaborative environment which can be good for students growing up. The teachers are awesome and each kid is given any one-on-one time necessary to fully understand a subject. Along with the teachers, the classes offered are great as well. Manchester offers many upper-end classes such as honors, AP, and even other academic programs such as dual enrollment and Early College Alliance. I highly suggest raising your children in the Manchester Community School district!
I love Manchester schools for the small-town feel. The class sizes are quaint, and it really allows for a close bond with both peers and teachers. We all were given IPads while in my time at Manchester, and that really allowed our learning to soar. It opened up technology pathways other districts didn't have, and I believe gave us a leg up when we made the transition to college. Manchester School District has one of the highest graduation rates in Michigan at 98% per class. Myself as well as all three of my siblings have attended and graduated from MHS, and we are all extremely successful. The faculty and staff at Manchester Schools are truly one-of-a-kind, and always make their students their top priority. Being a small district, our teachers often took multiple roles, from teaching various subjects, leading clubs and organizations, to coaching sports. Our teachers being so versatile taught us the importance of prioritization and time management.
I enjoyed my time at Manchester Community School, a lot of the teachers and staff are very helpful and have a passion for working with the student. I wish there was a little more diversity in the school and more clubs or sports such as swimming and dance.
