Manawa School District Reviews

2 reviews
My experience here has been great. I can't speak for all students, but the teachers here really do care about student success. The only lapses in quality I've seen have been from an administration that seems to care more about numbers and perception than teachers and students, a rapidly rotating staff, and low diversity, but these are the fault of demographics, not the school.

I can't speak to the food because I brought my own lunches. If there was one thing I'd change, I'd add in more high-level and AP courses, but with such a small school it's not likely that they would be taken advantage of.

Our clubs and activities are robust; my only complaint there is that funds are constantly given to low-division sports teams rather than our talented arts departments. Involvement from our student organizations increased in my time here, and I saw it enrich the culture in real time.

It has its shortcomings, but Manawa will always hold a special place in my heart. I'll miss our little school

I am currently a high school senior here at Manawa School District and my experience has been both up and downs. I love the teachers and students. I think that the academics needs to be higher and the sports. Also, the school board is usually really good about getting things done and taken care of business that needs to be. The amount of opportunities everyone had was a lot. There was so many options you can chose from. Anything from sports to clubs or to just volunteering with anything your school needs to. Parents here are very involved and love to do it. They get involved with anything that they need or want too. I will definitely miss my time here at Little Wolf Jr/Sr High School. It was a blast to be here.
