Rating 4 out of 5 29 reviews
Being the only school within the Manassas Park City district, it gets its job of educating students completed. However, the facility and its staff are rife with problems. Leaky ceilings during rainfalls and bathrooms filled with students skipping class to vape are very much commonplace and since the 2020 pandemic, the staff turnover rate is near atrocious with how many teachers they must replace from school year to school year. Communication between students and administration is a coin flip at best and talking to a brick wall at worst, with the administration preparing its students very little for post-graduation. While a diverse and open public school with a blue-ribbon award winning choral and band department, Manassas Park High still has to make a lot of changes and unfortunately I don't see myself in the future proudly saying that I am one of their alumni.
One thing I love about Manassas Park City Schools is that it's a very small community and teachers really care for the students. They teach not for the money but to make a difference in each student's life. One thing I would change is adding more interesting classes to the course catalog. Other than that I believe it's a great school district.
One of, if not the best high schools in Northern Virgina. As a former student I can confidently say that Manassas Park City Schools are excellent! The teachers are great, classes are always challenging, but can be fun, and a variety of clubs and sports. Going to this High School was awesome!
