Mahtomedi highschool consists of about 300 students per grade, and class sizes averages to about 24 students. With the rigorous courses and AP/ CIS courses offered, the school values academic success. The school is lacking elective courses other than art and workshop classes. They have a high level of parent involvement and volunteer opportunities through elementary school and high school with all of the monthly events to gather the community. The teachers hold high standards for the students, but provide support for the students to help them learn. They value safety and have an on campus officer year round, so I would give them 4 stars overall.

My overall experience was great because of the teachers I picked were ones who aimed to set their students for college readiness. The students, in my opinion, need to learn to respect the ones allowing them to pursue their education. I did not enjoy high school because of this but I HAD to continue my education there. I built strong relationships with 3 main teachers who are the ones who influenced and inspired me to be me and always go for a challenge. My peers were just not the kind of people I wanted to be around.
I saw how hard the employees at Mahtomedi Senior High School work and I bow down to them. They may put up with some disrespectful students, but they still help them even though they may turn their backs to it. I saw the staff's hard work and I appreciate everything Mahtomedi Public Schools has to offer their students. I give a huge thank you to Mahtomedi Public Schools, you guys helped me grow and mature into the never-giving-up student I longed to be.
A very high drama high money school district. Administration for the whole district is pittyful and overall the whole area could use improvement on the education front. Mismanagement of money coming into school and bad choose in teaching staff has lead to its decline.
