The academics are some of the best in the country, although maybe not on par with Chatham or Summit, but less competitive as well. MHS gives a good foundation for higher education, but not really real-world scenarios. The community within the high school isn't the best, but there is a family within the sports teams if you join. My guidance counselor was very helpful in the search for colleges and helping me manage my mental illness although I am very much aware that that is not the case for every student. Overall I'm happy for what I've learned here and am lucky to have graduated from such a highly ranking school.
Madison Public Schools offered various different opportunities for their students, through endless extra-curricular activities, multiple sports teams, their arts and music program, and many clubs. Being apart of this school district has given me character, confidence, and the ability to achieve any goals I strive for. Because this school district is so competitive, it helped me be able to become the hard-worker that I am today, and be able to exert a lot of effort with every class I have taken.
Madison Public Schools are overwhelmingly average, but I still enjoyed my time as a student here. The academics were excellent with lots of AP classes offered, and there were many opportunities for people interested in STEM and arts/music.
