Madison County School District Reviews
I love my school and school district so much! When people in my area attend private schools, I am also shocked because we have the best public school system. The teachers are so kind and really want to impact each students life for the better. They are all well qualified for the subjects they teach. I love everything about my school from the campus, students and teachers, to the pep rallies, school dances, and Friday night lights. I couldn't ask for a better public school district, and I wouldn't go to a private school even if I could!
Madison county schools are top of the line. They have qualified teachers and staff. I am currently a student at Velma Jackson High school. The students there are very nice and you get to experience a lot of different cultural backgrounds. If I had to recommend Velma Jackson or the Madison county school district I will absolutely stand behind my words when I say that it is one of the best schools in the Madison county area. We have a advanced digital media program, student organizations, athletics as well as lots of student involvement in school wide activities and functions. Now with the educational point of view, the teachers really make a connection with the students. They teach the standards while teaching life skills and preparing us for the future. Lots of the students that have graduated from Velma Jackson have went on to own their own business, become singers, professional athletes and some even politicians. Velma Jackson is the top of my list of recommended schools.
Overall I have had a pretty good experience at Madison Central. I think we have a wide variety of clubs offered as well as clubs being created. I think the administration as a whole could open up to the idea of more political student body environment. I personally would love to see more student-driven political clubs like "Students Demand Action" and "Young Highschool Democrats for America", but since it is very conservative and right-leaning there is a split in what is allowed and what isn't. I do think that they are starting to loosen up and maybe in the next few years clubs like this will be added if people stand up!
