The school is capable of improvement. I’d like to see classes more focused on financial responsibility and college preparation, more clubs for students to be engaged in, a healthier food choice for lunch, and proper disciple for noncompliance incidents.
I would like to see more teachers that are more organized and student oriented, I had have many negative experiences with teachers who were unnecessarily rude to their students. It is difficult to want to come back to school like that.
The district is really bad, the county high school is way too full and understaffed, and the Prep school is really good but is unfortunately understaffed. The main priority at the county high school is sports, not education or well being of the students.
I would like to see an improvement in administration. They are not very good in respecting students. Every time I have had an issue instead of resolving it they forced me to bring my mom to the school.
Madison County schools, especially their high schools, benefit scholarly students in that they encourage students to enroll in college courses at the local community college. This particular program has allowed me to finish high school with almost all of the prerequisites for my degree in Astrophysics at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
My experience over the years in this school district was good overall. I have came across some amazing teachers and staff members that only wanted the best for me. This district is striving to be the best it can be in everything and it will forever leave an impact on my life.
I love the school district! I attend college in Madison Florida a Teacher NFCC! Great faculty and students
Teachers and staff focused on student needs---a major asset to students because of the student diversity. A majority of the students are on free or reduced cost lunch, have one parent responsible for them, and lack home reinforcement of experiences in school.
