Honestly, it's so tiny, that it really helps you to create a strong bond with friends and family! Personally, the students and faculty have helped me in many ways, but most importantly support. The teachers and even the other faculty members around the school support every decision that you make in your life. If you have any questions pertaining to anything that they know or are educated in, they just get right up and help, no questions asked.

As a senior in high school, I am preparing for college. I appreciate the help of the school counselors to assist with the steps to prepare for college, such as scholarships, applying for college, Financial Aid, etc. I have a great relationship with the principal and he is very supportive of my educational and career goals to go into nursing at Dakota Wesleyan University. The teachers are very supportive and understanding. I feel our level of safety is exceptional, even thought it can get to be frustrating. One thing I would like to see changed is the level of college preparedness students get inside the classroom. Overall, I value my education at Madison High School and wouldn't trade it for another high school. I also like the small size of the school, which allows for more one on one time with teachers as well.
I enjoyed the sense of community that Madison created. The teachers were there for their students and there was a vadiety of classes. The obsession with sports wasn't something I enjoyed, though. It sent the message that sports were the only thing that were important. There weren't enough to STEM clubs, either.
But it's a good school, one that is doing its best to become better as time goes on.
