I really have enjoyed my time in the Madeira City School District very well so far. It is a small school district and most of the kids in my grade I have known since I was three or four-years-old. Madeira is a very welcoming school district and you would never feel alone or out of place. The average grade is consists of about 100 to 130 students therefore, grades are very close knit. If one were new to Madeira I am positive that they would have no problem at all finding new friends, clubs, or sports teams to get involved with. The community values all of the students education as well as involvement in extracurricular activities. From an hardworking atmosphere a with helpful teachers at school to well attended Friday night football games, the Madeira City School District has a lot to offer.

Madeira teachers take notice, and care when students start to fall through the cracks. They don't let them though. The small school makes it possible for the staff to pay close attention to each student's progress as an individual.
Friend groups span across all grades and clubs. Once a student finds their niche, they are usually content. People tend to stay in the same friend groups, but it's not too hard making friends outside of your designated circle.
The administration, like many, is a little slow and out of touch with the student body, but the school doesn't suffer that much overall. All the cafeteria ladies need to be fired though. There is never enough food, and the food they do serve is garbage nutritionally, and tastefully.
I was offered many opportunities that I wouldn't have probably had if I had gone to some other schools in this area. I would definitely send my children to Madeira if I had children, and the high taxes to live there are definitely worth it.
Madeira High School is a top public school. A kind faculty and dedication to excellence are at the heart of a student's success at Madeira. The school is very small, around 500 students at the most, and not incredibly diverse, but there are plenty of opportunities provided to connect with those outside the community.
