Overall, I have had a very positive experience with Mad River Local Schools. The teachers are very helpful and are always willing to provide extra help after school if needed. Mad River's facilities and resources are outstanding. The broad range of career tech programs offered at Stebbins High School give students the opportunity to dive into their fields of interest. The school district is very safe and has a great administration.
One change I would like to see happen in the district is the addition of more extracurricular activities, especially at Stebbins High School. Students would benefit from the opportunity to participate in activities like Debate Team, Model UN, and a Creative Writing Club. Another thing that would benefit students of Stebbins High School would be to offer more AP Courses.

All 3 of my daughters attended Mad River Elementary schools (Virginia Stevenson). We truly liked the atmosphere and our daughters loved their experiences there! Highly recommend.
The things I was taught I feel help me to prepare for college and life in general. I felt challenged as a student. The teachers and principals are extremely knowledgeable, even the office staff are always friendly and willing to help. It is very personable the staff know the majority of all the students.
