I wish we could have better clubs and activities, and instead of spending all of the budget on football maybe giving more to the academic clubs or foundations. Also, more funding for the other schools instead of just the high school would be greatly appreciated. Overall, very nice teachers and staff.

Macon County Schools is a relatively good school system. The teachers and administrators are all amazing people who enjoy their jobs and do them well. The high school guidance counselors are amazing, always helpful and friendly. The school however, suffers because of a lack of funding, this suffering is only increased by the small size of the community in which it is located. However, the system makes the most of what it is given, and all in all is a fairly good system.
My overall experience with Macon County Schools has been great. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to grow up in this county and receive a great elementary through high school experience.
