LCS schools is by far one of the best. Many of the courses are rigorous and allow for students to broaden their horizons. One of my favorite aspects by far is their theater involvement. Not only that but the teachers that work there are well equipped and help any student in need.
My Son is a junior at University of Lynchburg and he loves it ! He said he chose this college because it had a “hometown feel .”We as parents are pretty please as well .
My experience so far with LCS has been really good. I usually don’t have any issues with the teachers or students. In other words, it’s a couple of teachers whom isn’t the best at actually making the students feel understood and appreciated. While the coaches, who works for the school, make kids feel loved and appreciated.
There are many awesome teachers that have supported me throughout the school year and they have great classes and electives. The only problem I had was too crowded hallways and we are never allowed to do anything fun like prep rallys and the field trips are slim to none.
I had a great time in the Lynchburg public schools. I learned a lot, and I was taught a lot with extra help along the way.
Lynchburg City offers a multitude of resources, including Beacon of Hope, and access to incredible academics and classes. Most of the teachers are friendly and memorable and know their stuff. The only qualm that I have with LCS is they have been deteriorating in recent years in terms of organization for things like Registrations or spirit events, and there has been known to be a tad bit of gang activity, but it doesn't interfere personally with my schooling.
From attending Sandusky as my grade school to Heritage and ECG for high school LCPS has been great. The community behind it all is supportive and helpful for everone. No one is ever left behind.
My experience with Lynchburg city schools have been great. I enjoyed all four years of high school and had no issues. The teachers that I had were really nice and supportive and I made great friends.
I think the school system focuses on unnecessary things instead of looking at a bigger picture and that really takes away from the experience.
Lynchburg City Schools is a very diverse and well rounded academic school district involving several public schools within the surrounding community. Partnerships throughout the community allow for a better experience for students of all ages from K-12. However, if I had to change anything it would be to make the necessary arrangements for students who are unable to afford school lunches / go home each day hungry due to not being able to either afford or eat the food provided to them.
Lynchburg City Schools is a well rounded school system that is open to change and growth. The diversity in their high schools particularly stood out to me and made me proud to be an alumni to such a wonderful school system. The administration associated with each school is excellent and does what is best for the students. I cannot think of anything that I would change about LCS due to their hard work and dedication to the helping students become successful in life.
Lynchburg City schools is a great school district. It provides equal opportunities for each student regardless of the circumstances they are under. The Advanced, AP and Dual Enrollment courses are phenomenonal. Most of the teachers prepare the students for the exams and tests.
its a great public school district. i really like how we have a lot of different variety of things to do for this district. its a really great district to be in.
I Think Lynchburg city schools is doing a very good job. By helping out students, keep the school safe, and keeping parents inform. I like how. The teacher try to keep the classes interesting,by trying to act cool or doing fun activities. Also at then end of the semester we have incentives. For example ice cream, movies, field day, and etc. On the other hand, They really need to fix the food at the schools it's okay, but the food need alot of work. They give use the same food everyday. There are only a few options we can choose from. In my opinion , I think all students should get free lunch that's one thing Lychburg city school don't do is give free lunch to everyone. Contrary, The school I go to. Is E.C.glass high school. The sport program is doing fine, but our football team and the Marching band need new equmemt. Other then that lynchburg city schools are great and trying to do they beat but it could be better.
It is pretty good. I do not hate my school, however I do not love it either. A lot of the teachers try to help a lot and they are not very mean. Some of the teachers are very understanding and try to accomodate all of their students in the classes they teach.
The problems you find in these schools are much the same as you would find anywhere you stick a large group of young teens in one building - there are always jerks. However, Lynchburg doesn't have as many as some other schools.
I enjoy Lynchburg City Public Schools overall due to their cooperation and effectiveness throughout my years spent with the school system. I have made incredible friends and joined sports teams that have taught me a lot about teamwork and what it means to become a part of what you could even consider a family. This especially applies to cross country. Alongside this, the facilities are relatively nice, and the faculty are all great at incorporating both work and play as well as focusing on the success of each individual student. Altogether, I thoroughly enjoy Lynchburg City Public Schools and am proud to attend a school within the district.
