I would like to see the administration change. They have messed with the system and continue to mess with it. As a student, it has been very hard to learn with the way the district has been trying to teach their students.
Teachers are very helpful for the students, always trying to engage the students with fun activities.
Los Lunas High School is an ok school. The facilities are clean and the academics are great. However, there is very little culture at the school such as events. The food could also be improved as well.
I loved the music program at Valencia High School, but I would like to see the school prep kids for college more.
There are some brilliant teachers in the Los Lunas school district. They can improve in the area of college prep!
It's been a while since my time at these schools. But not too long ago. Anyways these schools were lacking in teaching the students. Though there were teachers that were fully invested in helping students grow and learn. There were also teachers who were there just for the paycheck and didn't enjoy teaching their students.
I attend a High School connected with the Los Lunas Public Schools. I believe my high school can improve their communication, more college readiness, less of basic classes. My school I believe needs to have student declare at least an approximate major and have them take courses rather than not doing that and taking courses you may not need in college.
Los Lunas high school is a diverse school with amazing facilities. The teachers are fairly average. The English department is amazing. Los Lunas High offers no extra challenges for gifted and advanced students. The is also limited college preparedness and dual credit opportunities.
Los lunas high school is an okay place I just need to do this for my Avid class so yeah good luck I’m really bored all the time and school is not for me
Throughout my education at Los Lunas Schools two things seemed to be apparent, a lack of control over students and the seemingly glossed over college preparation “courses”. The latter of the two were made available, but seemed to require more effort than expected to seek out.
Los Lunas public schools have treated me great throughout my time of school. From going to KGE from kindergarten to 3rd grade and then finishing elementary at Sundance which is such an amazing school and every single one of my siblings love it. I’ve noticed the middle school has made some changes from when I went and that’s good. Now in the rebuilt high school is modern, clean and a great place to learn. The teachers are great and the students look to be on track to have a really high graduation percentage.
Los Lunas Public Schools is a very good place for students and faculty to learn and grow together. The faculty members at certain schools in the district could be a bit better, yet the district is doing well with what is available to the students and members of staff.
I liked the high school experience. I was involved in sports which lead to many events. In a small town such as Los Lunas its great to see the town come together as a whole to participate in sports events or any related school activity. There is not one thing that i would like to be changed.
My school has lost a lot of teachers. I have one class where I sit and do nothing. I want to be engaged every class period!
The high school campus is very nice, but the middle school looks a little rundown, and Raymond Gaboldon Elementary is in desperate need of renovation, it seems dirty and looks very worn out.
It has a good building and good teachers. Plenty of classes to choose from and tons of activities. But yet didn't have good food what so ever.
Sports teams are very good. Good grades can be achieved if you work hard. Fairly easy to make friends
