Lone Oak Independent School District Reviews
Lone Oak Independent School District has been a very unique experience for myself over the past 14 years I have attended school there. I have been surrounded by mostly good people within my time there. The teachers that make up the staff are amazing! A lot of them have been such an inspiration for me throughout the years and have helped me through a lot. The administration is good as well. They do their best to provides students at Lone Oak a fair chance and amazing oppurtunities. The staff at Lone Oak ISD is not only qualified for what they do, but they also care for their students and that plays a big role in how the students feel.
I like that it is not nearly as traditional and opposed to change as the surrounding town is. The administration is very caring and excellent at making necessary changes. I like that it's small enough for everyone to know everyone. This makes us a tight knit group, but it's tough for new kids to feel welcome as a result.
People have told my oblivious self that it used to be a big thing to get into Lone Oak. We were known for our academics which is the best thing to stand out for in a school. Of course there is still room for improvement in the present day, but our teachers have been doing an excellent job keep us students up while our school goes down.
