I'm a senior at Livonia Franklin High School. I'll be graduating in June 2018, then furthering my studies at Plattsburgh State University in New York. I'm extremely thankful for the lessons, friends, and experiences I've gained through my school district. I believe if you apply yourself, no matter where you are, you will succeed with your mindset. I had a great time at Franklin, because I believe there is a tight community within the school. It makes it almost like a family. Franklin made high school less painful, stressful, and more promising for me. I know I'm one of the lucky ones; Most students don't always have an enjoyable high school experience. There's always room for improvement, I'd recommend Franklin trying not to let some students slip through the cracks. I know some students at my school that feel they are invisible to the staff. Try to learn names, make accommodations, and embrace every student whether you're a student or staff member!

I love the sense of community Livonia has. Throughout my elementary years I have overcome a lot with the help of a supportive staff. I entered the LPS district not knowing my alphabet and had a low reading score till 3rd grade. In 3rd grade I had an amazing teacher who coached me into the strong advanced classes student I am today. From 3rd grade on I received helpful hints and push from all my teachers. Thanks to Livonia public schools elementary schools I continued on to highschool at Stevenson where I placed into accelerated courses and college ap classes. Along with my academic accomplishments I also became very involved in the highschool atmosphere; joined Spanish club, class council, attended school dances and participated in the many community services the school offered. This school district brought me close to my community and turned me into a excelling student. In the end, it was a great childhood in Livonia Public Schools!
I’ve gone to LPS for my entire education since kindergarten and it has been a great experience since day 1. The teachers are knowledgeable and supportive. My brother has autism and has been in the center program with LPS since first grade. The center program staff are wonderful and work with parents to create the best environment possible for each and every child. There are an outstanding amount of opportunities for work with peers. I have participated in both the ACAT program and the MSC program which are both challenging curriculums that helped to prepare me for more rigorous courses in the future, which I am very great full for.
