Livingston has an excellent relationship with a nearby community college that allows students to enroll in dual-credit courses as well as CTE programs. The district pays all college fees while enrolled, as well. Several of the programs provide the opportunity for students to graduate with certifications and associate degrees already in place for future career options.

The school has plenty of extracurricular activities for students to participate in for a broader, more rounded education.

Livingston Independent School District is located in my home town of Livingston, which doesn’t only give you the small town feel, but actually is a small town! Classes are not crammed with students, and elective choices are overwhelmingly available.
For how rural the area around it is, Livingston High School and the district as a whole is advanced in education. They offer dual credit college courses on an actual college campus for anyone who qualifies. There is a wide selection of after school activities. The high school is relatively new and so are most of the facilities. I enjoyed my time there. High school is what you make of it.
