Livingston High School gives many wonderful opportunities to their students. They hold college fairs, have various clubs, many sports, and other activities to get students involved. The academics are stellar as well. Livingston High School offers a plethora of class options with various levels of difficulty. The school makes sure that each student is able to stimulate their own interests while also completing their graduation requirements. The environment that the teachers and administration build is very friendly and welcoming. Students feel safe at school because they know that they always have someone to talk to. Livingston High School uses all of its resources to make sure that their students get a great education while also feeling comfortable in their surroundings.
LHS is definitely what you make of it: a lot of the CP classes feel useless, but I'm very grateful for my higher-level teachers who are definitely qualified (sometimes even overqualified) for our school. There is definitely a very grade-toxic culture here, which has its good and bad sides.
I can't speak for everyone- but I have a really good experience with the staff/administration. I struggled with mental health issues for a while, and the counselors are amazing/are genuinely there to help you.
I have a much more negative view of our student body though. I think LHS is large enough that you don't have to worry about not finding a group to fit in with, but it's worth noting that Livingston is in a VERY prominent bubble.

In general, I would say this school is challenging. Even if you take CP, the classes are really hard: this is mainly because of the teachers who bombard the students with homework and assessments. This caused me a lot of stress because it got really overwhelming really quickly since it all piles up. However, if you take advantage of it the academics are really great although it is really competitive. Something also of note is the student body. This school is very cliquey which makes it hard to make friends and maintain a good social life along with the mass amounts of work. Also, the guidance department isn't that helpful especially surrounding the topic of college applications. This makes everything very hard. The only good thing I would say about this school is the academics and some teachers who were willing to spend time to really help the student.
