Lisbon Community School District Reviews

I transferred to Lisbon my senior year and I loved it, I regret not transferring sooner. The welcoming community was a great feeling. Everyone's always there for everyone no matter what and that's something rare in a community. One thing that I'd like to see change is each sport be broadcasted equally and with great updates on each athlete. One thing I've noticed is that many athletes are broadcasted more than others and that doesn't boost self esteem. Keeping sports to equal broadcasting is something I'd like to see. I'd also like to see more community activities. The Lisbon community has so much to offer to their citizens that more community activities would bring even more.

Lisbon Community School District has great teachers who genuinely care for the students. However, the administration makes it very tough to continue working here. The Superintendent, who is part-time, is a bully who gets his way by eliminating those who disagree with him. Pat Hocking has created a culture of fear among the staff and surrounds himself with only those who will say 'yes'. Perhaps Pat Hocking should spend more time focused on the issues at the school instead of at the local bars making a fool out of himself and the school district every weekend.
