I have been a part of the Lisbon Central School District since kindergarten. As a small k-12 school with six hundred students or less, it's a very close-knit environment. Class sizes vary, but the largest is around sixty-five and the smallest is usually around thirty-five. I have loved every second of being a Lisbon Knight. First of all, I'd like to see more classes offered such as honors and AP courses to help the students get the same edge as other school districts in the area and in bigger schools. I would also like to see the teacher dynamic changed; like any school, it's obvious that there are teachers who aren't meant to be teachers and follow a deposit teaching method instead of a teaching environment based on complex thinking. The last thing I would like to see change is overall support by all.

A lot needs to change about this school. The lack of communication is terrible. No one tells the students anything and they are often surprised when there's something going on. The terrible undercooked lunch food is too expensive, even for the well off families. There is also no disciplinary action and students often get off the hook without a warning.
I would like to see the school system, expire Communist to the Core.
Otherwise known as Common Core.
The Lisbon school system is probably the worst I've experienced. They do not correct spelling in fourth grade. They don't have spelling, or school books.
I would not recommend this school to anyone.
