I moved to Lindsay during my 6th grade year, and that is when I became apart of the Lindsay Unified School District. I am now a senior in high school and have been here for 6 years. I have to say my experience has been like a rollercoaster but very good at the same time. It is very different from my old school district which made it difficult to adjust, however it has been very eye opening. I love what Lindsay Unified School District has to offer, and the Performance Based System, the grading system, has made me become an independent learner. I am now more self-directed and take accountability for my learning and education. I love my district and wouldn't want a thing to change. It has shown me a lot and has shaped me into the student I am today and has opened up numerous opportunities for me as I cherish to fulfill my higher education.

I’ve been living in Lindsay for about 15 and a half years of my 17 years of life and enjoy the PBS system in incorporates from other traditional school system. I represent my school by explaining and implementing this system, being it’s my senior year I’ve taken advantage of the Performance Based System to achieve levels I didn’t think I would reach growing up. A better decision left unsaid due to the fact the sky is the limit.
My experience as a Lindsay Unified School District learner was very good. All of the schools that make up this school district are very good schools, especially Lindsay High School, which is the school I am attending. The district helps those students in need and ensures every single student is receiving the best education. The district provides us with laptops and home Wi-Fi to complete homework assignments at home. I believe this is what makes this school district great and one of the best in the valley. Overall I believe that Lindsay Unified School District is one of the best school districts that I have been involved in and will continue to be for more years to come.
