Lindsay Independent School District Reviews

2 reviews
Lindsay Independent School District is a very small school. Consisting of around five hundred students, you'll know just about everyone's name, but that's what I love about it here. I know and have been friends with everyone that I'm going to graduate with. All of the teachers know my name. Students and teachers come to support us in both our athletic and academic activities. At Lindsay, everyone supports each other. Unlike bigger schools, you don't have to try out for a sports team and it's easier to make it on a UIL team. In Lindsay, the classes are hard, but the teachers push us to make the highest grades so we can so we'll be college ready. There's nothing that needs to be changed at Lindsay. We may lack some in diversity, but that's only because of the people that want to move into our small town. Lindsay has been a great school to me since kindergarten, and I'm proud to say that I will be graduating from Lindsay soon.

Great small school overall. Students excel in athletics and academics. Facilities are sufficient, but need to be improved. Kids are hard working and respectful and parents have high expectations which is why the students as a whole excel.
