Lima City School District Reviews
Some teachers cared a lot about their students, others were average. The food was alright for a public school. Sports was the majority of what students cared about, while arts and academics kind of fell to the wayside for a bit until new principal came into the high school. North Middle School and West Middle School are pretty much the worst in the district, but South Sci-Tech and Liberty Arts Magnet have some of the more well-behaved students in the district. However, students have a lot of opportunities, involving going to different college campuses, traveling to different states, and getting to be involved once in a lifetime events.
The involvement with the students from the staff was very evident. They all want the best for their students and staff for the community. Being a student in this district, I’ve notice the diversity around me, which I thought was a good thing being an African American. Another thing is that I f the parents aren’t Involved as much as others, I’ve seen staff members take on the responsibility to push those students for success.
Lima City Schools has always been in my life. There are many things I enjoy about the school ranging from the academics to the teachers. It felt as if people were always ready to help no matter your circumstances which came in handy for any confusion. Compared to some other schools they seemed to offered more courses than what I heard about from nearby school districts. Though when it comes to the administrators they seemed to pay less attention to the schooling life compared to the teachers, but I am absolutely in love with Lima City Schools.
