Rating 4.32 out of 5 19 reviews
Lewiston-Porter has been a wonderful place to refine my love of learning. This school has allowed me to connect with multiple amazing teachers, and there are plenty of opportunities for me to take advantage of. I think that there are bountiful resources available at Lew-Port for students in many different avenues. However, the atmosphere among students leaves much to be desired and a lack of diversity has caused many issues. Issues of bullying are sometimes left unaddressed by administration, and many minority students (as far as I know) find the atmosphere of this school to be stressful, me included.
It’s good for a public school. Staff is good and new facilities at high school. School is modern and clean and student experience is nice. Small school, so it cant compare with large schools in the way of opportunities but for its size and resources it does well in activities
Lewiston Porter is an incredible school district with lots to do and incredibly varied and interesting classes. The teachers are nice and passionate and the whole school has a nice community feel, due to each grade only being about 150 students. It does have some flaws, like the lack of tech programs, and certain facilities not existing like an indoor track or a six-lane pool. While these are annoying to not have, the school more than makes up for it with its incredibly good teachers that make every class blast and something worth paying attention to, and the students who try at everything and work incredibly hard in class and on the various teams they participate in. The community vibe of this school just can't be beaten. I am proud to be a student at this school and feel like I am truly prepared for college and life as a result of going here.
