Leon County Schools are improving. However, I would like to see more advanced technology as well as additional electives for students. I believe that students should have more involvement with choosing their courses. I also believe that the education system should place more emphasis on training students on skills that they are good at so they can master those skills and be successful with their adult life. I believe this educational system will increase graduation rates and reduce drop out rates because it would give the students a feeling of self fulfillment. It would also encourage them to thrive harder on their education.

Leon County Schools is a very supportive school district with many policies in place to help under privileged kids succeed. Every single employee, whether it is a teacher, maintenance person, or bus driver, gets treated with the respect they deserve. This mutual respect between employees of Leon County Schools helps create a safe and efficient work environment that is truly a well-oiled machine in all facets of education.
My experience with Leon County Schools has been amazing so far, and it's only my first year. I attend Florida State University and it is incredibly inclusive and engaging. The school is great at getting people from all walks of life together and involved. The school also had a program I was involved in that helped me prosper during my first year of college. One of the only issues I have experienced with this school is getting my hours transferred after taking a CLEP exam, which has been quite frustrating but hopefully will be fixed soon.
