At LCPS, our mantra is Leveling Up. Whether with our students, our teachers or our staff and administrators, the goal is continuous improvement. We're proud of our league-leading K-12 digital learning initiative, now in its eighth year, and the opportunity we provide hundreds of students to earn college credits while in high school -- and a two-year degree by the time they graduate. LCPS has pioneered an apprenticeship program with local manufacturers that not only gives high school students experience in trade careers but also guarantees them a job upon graduation. And because we're always Leveling Up, there's more -- and more to come.

Apple Distinguished School Recognition

academic spotlight

Fewer than 900 schools around the world have been honored as an Apple Distinguished School. LCPS has 12 of them, a recognition of innovative instruction and success in digital learning rarely bestowed by Apple. LCPS is in the ninth year of its digital learning initiative, an ambitious program that put iPads in the hands of all students and has made LCPS a leader in digital learning in the state.
