I liked the size of the school because it allowed me to get to know my teachers and talk to them one-on-one. I liked how you would see teachers at games and competitions, cheering on the team. The school spirit during homecoming is stupendous! I would like to see more AP classes.

The education itself isn't bad. Being a small school, there are limitations on what is available for things like AP courses, advancement from the traditional pace, and taking dual credit courses on a college campus. Two issues there were are that teachers are not held to high standards in terms of how they treat their students and there are not a lot of resources or support for those who are struggling in any way (foster care, mental illness, family financial situation).
Because the student population is small, there are so many opportunities for every student to be involved. Academics were top of the list for priorities for most teachers. Only took off one star for the few students who slipped through the cracks.
