After graduation, I will have spent about 3 years at Lawrence County High School. During my junior and senior year, LCHS was helpful in getting me what I needed to apply and get accepted into my target colleges. One of the big drawbacks that I experienced was the lack of support for sports other than basketball and football. Many other sports teams weren't given the same attention or facilities for the same level of success.
I feel LCHS has made many academic improvements over the last few years. There is an increase in attention to college prep. Would like to see them continue to move in this direction. May need to explore more Dual Enrollment opportunities other than CState.
