Laurel is a good school district if you want to live a normal life that doesn't have too much going on. Not much goes on around here so be prepared to be bored; it's the country what do you expect? Teachers are pretty good, a few terrible ones but I'd imagine it's like that anywhere you go. Class sizes are small so you have to get along with everybody in order to do well. One thing I can't wait for in college is not knowing absolutely everybody, it gets annoying with rumors and what not spreading like wildfire. Overall, a good school that has good school spirit and has community members willing to help one another out in a heartbeat.

A community of our own. Laurel is full of support wherever you look. The teachers are kind and hard working. They are willing to do anything for you as a student. We have a diverse "student life" with programs for just about anyone!
My overall experience I guess would be pretty average. I am the student council president and every class I ever wanted to take is available. I have run cross country for years. The teachers at the school are really cool. The administration is relatively young which helps when dealing with student body issues. I have gone to Laurel my entire student life and I generally have no complaints. I have a close group of friends and we all enjoy supporting each other in and out of school.
