Rating 4.67 out of 5 3 reviews
Our LaSalle Parish School System is phenomenal to me! Of course it would be because it is all I have ever known. However, when I am talking to my friends who live in Louisiana and in other states, I realize that my school system is above and beyond what others have the opportunity to experience. Also, when I hear that LaSalle Parish has earned an A rating for our accomplishments, my heart swells with pride! In fact, our parish is ranked 7th in the state of Louisiana! All through my school years, I have been blessed with teachers who go to great heights to teach us and prepare us for college and adult life. The culture of our schools promote involvement and learning. I have always felt as if the teachers and administrators were interested in me and my progress as I was learning and maturing through 14 years of school. As I prepare to start the next phase of my schooling career, I am confident that I have a strong foundation upon which to build, grow, and learn!
I have had multiple young cousins as well as friends of family that have gone to school in Olla. Second to none close knit community, as well as availability of extracurricular activities that are inclusive to all students.
What I like about Lasalle Parish Public Schools is that everyone is nice and we all know each other. The faculty make it easy for you to talk to them. The students get along and are nice to associate with. I love that there are a lot of activities to do. I love the club opportunities we have here. I like how the clubs are involved with the community. I like to see how supportive the students are of the sports. Every football, baseball, softball, and basketball game the student body is there to cheer on the teams. What I would like to see change in Lasalle Parish Public Schools is less strict dress code in the school and better food. I would also want to see more options in foreign language education. Overall I like Lasalle Parish and everything that is available to me.
