I had a lot of personal issues with the school, and many troubles and disputes with some teachers and administration. My case was pretty unique however and by the end of my time there I would say it was dealt with. Lots of bullies and teachers that can be less than friendly sometimes, but that's about it with the bad. The school is pretty good otherwise!

I personally believe that it is easy to nit-pick all areas of potential improvement without recognizing an organization's merits. I do not wish to do this in my analysis; so, I must first say, Lampeter-Strasburg, as a whole, provided me with both a stellar education and learning environment. My childhood experience was fruitful thanks to the dedication of my teachers and staff as well as the moral quality of my peers. My ideas and perspectives evolved over time in a way unique to me, not in a way forcibly hindered by the "status quo."

However, with this being said, I believe Lampter-Strasburg can improve by expanding past the tradition of our Lancaster Country area. Historical ideas still in place provide a strong grounding for any organization, but even these must be removed of a certain sanctity from change. More clubs that provide different ways of approaching religion, modern politics, and philosophy would be a wonderful addition, in a non-accusatory manner, to my district.
I am a Pioneer alumni and loved the school district so much I moved into it so my daughter could attend. The teachers I had during my time there were amazing helpful strong people that always challenged me to be my best self. Now that I have a child of my own who is approaching middle school I could not imagine living in another district. My daughter is in special education and over the past four years at Lampeter-Strasburg has grown so much academically and physically. She went into the school barely able to put more then two words together and now speaks in full sentences, she also struggled with her physical limitations and throughout her time there has become increasingly independent. We absolutely love our school district and the teachers there.
