My experience and Lake George had been AMAZING!! I have gone to Lake George since pre-school. All of the teachers care so much about the students and put TONS of effort into their job. The education you will receive at Lake George is like no other. I have been able to make such tight connections with my teachers that I would not be able to do at a huge school. Lake George is very small school where everyone knows everyone, this has its pros and cons (obviously). There are so many after school activities you can participate in from business clubs to varsity soccer! Overall my experience at Lake George has been amazing!!
Lots of activities and school spirit. Most teachers are good, however not all. Rather cliquey, difficult to make friends. Major party school!
I moved to Lake George School District shortly into the beginning of eight grade. And, boy, can I say it was one of the best things to ever happen to me. What I like most about the school is how small it is. I have been able to get to know my teachers and peers a much better level than that at any other school and it was been so helpful. I found my "group" that I know I can always go to, but I also found those teachers that I can talk to when I am struggling. As most people know, teenagers have quite a few mental health issues and these teachers I mention have helped lead my through the difficult times when my anxiety gets the best of me. Lake George has been more like a family than a school to me. I always find myself after school getting help from teachers and friends. And I find that I spend more time at my school than at home. Lake George Central School District has given me so much and so I hope that I can go out in the world and give that success back.
