Lots of activities and school spirit. Most teachers are good, however not all. Rather cliquey, difficult to make friends. Major party school!

I moved to Lake George School District shortly into the beginning of eight grade. And, boy, can I say it was one of the best things to ever happen to me. What I like most about the school is how small it is. I have been able to get to know my teachers and peers a much better level than that at any other school and it was been so helpful. I found my "group" that I know I can always go to, but I also found those teachers that I can talk to when I am struggling. As most people know, teenagers have quite a few mental health issues and these teachers I mention have helped lead my through the difficult times when my anxiety gets the best of me. Lake George has been more like a family than a school to me. I always find myself after school getting help from teachers and friends. And I find that I spend more time at my school than at home. Lake George Central School District has given me so much and so I hope that I can go out in the world and give that success back.
Even though Lake George is a small school, my senior class having only 80 students, the opportunities that we are presented with are amazing! The teachers are willing to take extra time to help you and the school is very friendly and welcoming. I love it here. The only thing I would change about my school is our diversity.
