Lake Central School Corporation Reviews
I was enrolled in the Lake Central School Corporation from Kindergarten through High School Graduation. Overall, I enjoyed all of the schools and the corporation as a whole. The school were always clean, teachers were helpful, classes were challenging but appropriate, I always felt safe in school, and there were a lot of opportunities to get involved! I would recommend this school corporation to someone from out of the area to ensure that their children will be well taken care of and prepared for life after high school. I am now a College student and I feel that Lake Central did a lot to help me be ready for this!
I am not trying to kiss ass when I say Lake Central is a great school. They offer tons of chances to get ahead on your future, including the number of AP and Dual Credit classes they have open to anyone interested. Our high school also has many programs at for the Career Center for those students interested in futures dealing with nursing, police work, cosmetics, and more! The Career Center gives hand-on experience by putting students in those specific environments to help flourish and develop their skills for those careers. While Lake Central provides great support for the future, I do feel that it should encourage those who aren't in the spotlight. Of course, events like sports get full coverage whenever a big win occurs, but I think the arts should get a tad more attention when it deserves it.
Overall, my experience with Lake Central hasn’t been bad so far. I play volleyball so my experience with academics and school as a whole is different from others who don’t participate in sports. I struggle a lot more in school but the teachers are very helpful and understanding. Our athletics program is not very good but we have amazing athletic facilities. The school itself is super clean and well cared for. The students of Lake Central on the other hand are rude and start pointless fights. They tend to be more immature, especially as freshmen. I would love to see everyone be friends instead of having so much separation amongst groups.
