Students and teachers are great. They have improved my progress of learning English. When I came to this country, I didn't knew how to speak in English. I didn't know the school until my second year of Ladue Middle School. I was feeling very nervous to be around with students and teachers. As the time moves forward, I was able to adjust to the community and be around with so many people. It clearly shows that the community accepted me as member. The food in the school district was delicious. Whenever I don't have time make something for my self, I always buy food from the cafeteria. The line is quick and there are various kinds of food that students can eat.One thing to keep in mind, Ladue takes time to get to know someone, other school districts are quicker on knowing about someone.
Great schools K-12. Intelligent, compassionate teachers and staff. Also, great after school programs at the elementary school. An added bonus is the diversity. The only critiques I have are probably par for the course in other districts aside from too many helicopter parents and some high school teachers and staff are too overbearing. 17 and 18 year olds don’t need to be treated like they’re 12.
This public school system offers superior education to all but the most elite private schools such that any kid lucky enough to live in the district has an excellent opportunity to learn, achieve and matriculate at an elite university despite not having all the benefits of upbringing or affluence. Public education is the great equalizer in society and very few district in the USA do it better than Ladue. Compared to where and when I went to public school, the instruction my kids receive is like that which was offered to the richest kids who attended the best private country day school. In terms of value, nothing beats the Ladue School District. In areas where public school systems are plagued with poor performance, this kind of education would cost you 30K or more per year per student at a very competitive private school. If you have multiple kids, that delta can add up to 7 figures and so dollar for dollar, living in the Ladue District is the best value bar none.
In debate competitions Ladue is usually the state champion. The community has long supported its school system so that almost everyone here loves it. Our property taxes are higher, but with a 1:12 teacher:pupil ratio it is worth the cost for this school district. Rural feeling community in the heart of the city is a big plus. Just be ready for the high cost of a home because demand outstrips supply. You cannot go wrong sending your kids to this district. Competing school districts nearby are Kirkwood and Clayton. I am biased, but Ladue simply out performs them year after year in creating well rounded kids ready for the future.
One of the best all around educational experiences in the St Louis area bar none! They are always trying to provide the best learning experience for the students. Very professional staff and responsive to the community and parents! Always setting the bar for high achievement. Go Rams!
I love the teachers and people. the teachers are supportive and look out for students interests and there are so many different kinds of people.
Ladue's administration has always been very responsive to the parent and student communities. In addition to quality leadership, Ladue's teaching staff is full of some of the best people I have ever met. I have had fantastic teachers more often than not. However, there some questionable teachers but most of them are properly vetted and dealt with. The high school itself just underwent a $90 million renovation so the building is beautiful.
I love Ladue! I have been here since kindergarten and have only the best memories here. Each school prepares you well for the following school. Teachers are friendly and always happy to help. The high school is brand new with amazing facilities. The district has real pride in Ladue and the community.
Fantastic schools (all my 3 kids were and still are attending), innovative teachers, proactive polices, fast change implementation, very high academic standards, great extra-curricular activities, emphasis on music and the arts in conjunction with science, sports and debate teams.
