Rating 4.33 out of 5 3 reviews
Lackland Independent School District is a small school, which is a positive. I enjoy the low student teacher ratio, the academic support, and I feel safe because the school is on a military installation. The school also offers a variety of sports and extracurricular activities. Of course, It would be nice if there were more food options for breakfast and lunch, more information about scholarships for college and more support for athletics. Overall, Lackland Independent School District is an excellent school.
This school is amazing, especially for military brats (kids of parents who are in the military). The student, and faculty are super nice and helpful. The school is small, so this give the teachers and students to connect one to one. This is nice for students who need that type of attention. The school also gives one to one iPads for the whole year, and you would think that they would become a distraction, but they really help students who do not have those type of tools available to them on a daily basis.
Great school district with incredible potential to become exceptional. The major concern is with the climate of the campuses. Faculty clearly appear disgruntled and voiceless. Students while they do well are often unaware of available resources.
