La Porte High School changed a lot over the course of my 4 years of attendance there. It was definitely not the worst school to have gone to, yet their standards were never up to par in some departments.

The school used to embody its pride and is now over-exhausting itself trying to get kids excited and engaged. The administrative staff blows over real issues effecting students and go after unimportant matters.

Overall, La Porte High School needs to rekindle its fire. A healthy balance of work and play is good for anyone, much less students. Also, you only benefit from knowing what your priorities are.

My experience has been quite the adventure as when first joining La Porte High School, it was already going through some changes as faculties and new School Buildings, and remodeling was happen all over, especially with some new staffing and teachers, equipment, and tools to make a better change for all the students on campus from the normal students, to the fine art, stem, and athletic students to have each and every bit of now things to join and learn to be a part of. As it could later show and encourage other students to do and be part of greater things that can help hem not only as a student. But as a learning and new generation human being
My experience at the La Porte independent school district was actually very good. At this school there are teachers who actually care about their students and love to teach. There are a handful of teachers who are there just to get a paycheck however, the teachers who are there to teach care more about their students then in any other districts.
