Both elementary and middle school have been pretty good for my kiddos. They have been proactive about my 8th graders 504 plan. The office staff interacts with him positively several times a day. He has had some negative situations with other kids that have been blown off (not all of them). But once I brought attention to this, they were handled. My daughter has enjoyed Kindy & 1st so far. Her teachers have done great at weekly communication. My biggest problems are that as the student population has been growing the physical school has just added portable buildings (maybe should consider building a new middle school), and the school lunches seem to be getting worse each year.

La Center School District is one of the worst districts in Washington. Sadly, it goes with the best town.
The atmosphere of the school is excellent. All the kids are super nice and helpful. Going to school is always fun when people want to be there. School culture is amazing at La Center. I would like to see a change in the help for college because there is only one person who helps and he isn't very helpful and is always busy.
