I would have to say the best part of gaining an education from Konocti Unified is that the staff I mostly comprised of Alumni who want to better the school communities. However, the rural local in wihc we are located minimized the ability if the school. For example, we don't have field trips—or sports teams like swim teams and that sort.
Some teachers really care about their students. However, bullying is often not taken care of until it results in a physical fight. Some schools are better than others.
KUSD was a head district when I was growing up and still ihss now that my son is. They have great staff and Lower Lake Elementary arena just as great as it was when I was in school.
